Housing Study

The San Luis Valley Housing Coalition is currently working with a group of Valley businesses, organizations, and community leaders to find a solution to the housing problems we are facing. The problems we are currently facing in the Valley are the lack of housing options, high housing costs and low wages. A Housing Study was performed in the six counties that make up the Valley and their surrounding communities.

The Valley-wide Housing Needs Assessment has been completed and  Community Needs Analysis' are being completed currently. In order to get feedback on draft documents the housing team is conducting Housing Study Listening Tours to hear what the community has to say. These meetings are being held as hybrid (in person and zoom) meetings to keep everyone safe.

Please see our Housing Study page for more information.
