Down Payment Assistance
The Down Payment Assistance program is a homeownership program providing homebuyers with a low-interest loan for the down payment and closing costs for the purchase of their home.


The mission of the SLVHC is to provide safe and affordable housing to low-moderate income community members.  The SLVHC addresses the increasing housing needs of the San Luis Valley through three programs that it offers: Down Payment Assistance ProgramHome Rehabilitation Program, the Casita de la Luna Apartments and High Valley Manor Apartments.
Home Rehabilitation
The Rehab program enables eligible applicants to make necessary repairs on their home to bring the home to Housing Quality Standards.
Casita de la Luna Apartments
 On-site management, a community  building, laundry facility, and beautiful landscaping are just a few of the amenities of the complex. These apartments are exclusively for the elderly and disabled.

High Valley Manor Apartments
 High Valley Manor, our newest property, is a multi-family housing complex with 1 or 2 bedroom units. A community room, laundry facility and beautiful landscaping are just a few of the amenities of the complex.

To file a program discrimination complaint, complete the USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form, AD-3027, found online at
